Old fashioned typewriter It works all day Lowercase apology With nothing to say And the memories will fall off the crown off your head If you’re better off here you’re better off than dead I resist these thoughts that are here in my head Resist this prose! And stay on your toes! We go slow Oh and babe that’s all we know We like to go slow And with nowhere to go And the wind will follow your ambitious sound And will blow your ideals that you carry around It will test all the feelings that you store in the ground and uncover what you want it to do, you know? And the memories will fall of the crown of your head But you can’t shake all the shit that you wish you had said But if it keeps you awake when you’re lying in bed Resist this prose! And keep on your toes! We go slow Oh and babe that’s all we know We like to go slow And with nowhere to go

Lost at Sea 02:34
We can’t find you anymore We can’t find you anymore dropped your license in the store And then you ran out You’re only seeing black and white while you’re sailing through the night Asking strangers for a light, You’ve lost all doubt You were skipping out the door Said you’re heading to the shore And You don’t need us anymore Just the rocks and the sand You’ve been taken by the waves Just how you end your Saturdays There’s no reason to be saved From your ocean home We can’t find you anymore We can’t find you anymore We can’t find you anymore You’re lost at sea You’re only seeing black and white and you’re sailing through the night Everything will be alright We’ll see you at home

Pushed me on the carousel Told me you weren't feeling well Threw me off the Ferris wheel Never told me how to feel (Drinking wine on the Ferris wheel Your bloody knees will never heal Carny soundtrack keeping time It’s beautiful here and everything’s fine) Issues with the turnstile Said that it might be a while A detour through the midway Didn’t give me much to say (Drinking wine on the Ferris wheel Your bloody knees will never heal Carny soundtrack keeping time It’s beautiful here and everything’s fine) (sharing lyrics might make people more okay with some incomprehensible production choices?)

Whatever happened to you When I was lonely and you were too Your heart shaped glasses couldn’t see through The hole in my head that’s reserved for something, Knew you wouldn’t call, cause you had no reason to make any plans, which is up to you And it’s A-okay for you to do what you need to, And in three week’s time, it won’t matter cause you’ll be Far, too far away And I was dumb, didn’t know what to say And whatever happened to you When you disappeared on a trip to Japan We hadn’t spoken for so many months And I wanted to hear from you but on the other hand, I Knew you wouldn’t call, cause you had no reason to make any plans, which is up to you because You live in Japan, so do what you need to, And in three years time, it won’t matter cause you’ll be Far, too far away And I was dumb, didn’t know what to say

Oceans 9-5 02:32
You can take your time on the ocean nine to five And you can call your favors If you need them to survive And if you take your tolls they won’t get you very far It’s alright, pack your bags, hit the music in your car. And I know that it’s fine but at least I’m not wasting my time on an overcast day You were fit for the road packed your bags and skipping town Cut your ties said goodbye, now they ask If you’re around And if you take It to heart It won’t get you very far But you’re gone It’s too late Like a bombed out Shooting star And I know that it’s fine But at least I’m not wasting my time on an overcast day

Out of time but the clock keeps ticking Nobody knows what the hell he’s thinking His better days never seemed to last and he’s drinking alone by the overpass He passes time and he’s counting hours Wasting years, He killed all the flowers Man, he’s the boss he’s a human machine He’s an evil neighbor and he’s putting down dreams He’s the man He’s a human profile He never comes home Cause he’s living alone Carnage Chaos, he’s no person Have another drink just to make things worse and, On his lawn watch him sin Nobody knows about the trouble he’s in Hopeless breathing, trouble seeing Lives alone, he’s losing feeling Feeling healthy, feeling tired Feeling bad, too bad, you’re fired He’s the man He’s a human profile He never comes home Cause he’s living alone

She watched the bridge burn While she sat in the snow And watched her hands bleed As her breathing got slow A match and kerosene She fought the winter’s cold And drank poison To keep from growing old Two years and a month She’s been away from home She made a few friends But is better alone She found a connection But when things took a turn She ran down to the river And watched bridges burn
